About Acceptly
Acceptly is a college-admissions operating system, one workspace for building your list, understanding your chances, tracking deadlines, drafting essays, and learning from students who got in before you.
Our mission
Great college-application guidance shouldn't cost thousands of dollars. Private counseling is out of reach for most families, and the information that's free online is scattered, outdated, or trying to sell you something. We built Acceptly to put clear, data-grounded guidance in every student's hands.
What Acceptly does
- Builds a balanced reach / target / safety list from your real profile across 3,900+ U.S. schools.
- Estimates your admit chances at any school, with the reasoning shown, never a black box.
- Keeps every deadline, essay, application, and decision organized in one place.
- Gives you an AI advisor grounded in your actual workspace, not generic tips.
- Shows real admitted-student profiles so you can calibrate against people like you.
Where our data comes from
Our numbers are grounded in real sources, primarily the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard (public-domain federal data) and, for our deep-profile schools, each institution's Common Data Set and official admissions pages. Every college profile shows its data source and confidence so you know what to trust and what to verify.
An honest promise
No one can guarantee admission, and Acceptly never claims to. Our chance estimates are planning tools, not predictions, and our deadlines and costs should always be confirmed on a school's official site. We'd rather be honest and useful than flashy and misleading.
